We’re thrilled to see you at the Latinx Alumni Network’s Reunion Weekend 2025—a special series of events designed to connect, celebrate and strengthen our network. From exciting networking opportunities to delicious meals and engaging conversations, this weekend is packed with chances to reconnect with old friends and make new ones!

Day of Giving 2025 Event

  • Time: 6 – 8 p.m
  • Where: Lobera 
  • Cost: Free
  • Parking: There is street parking along Hillsborough Street. The Ferndell Lot is free after 5 p.m.

Join us at Lobera for an evening dedicated to building community and connections. Meet fellow students impacted by current events to show how our alumni support NC State students. Let’s come together and make a difference.

Mezcal and Mingle – LAN Happy Hour

  • Time: 6 – 8 p.m.
  • Where: Cuya
  • Cost: $15 per person, walkups welcome

Join us at Cuya for an evening of great drinks, delicious bites and meaningful connections with LAN alumni. We can’t wait to see you there!

Emporerados: Paving the Way

  • Time: 2 p.m.
  • Location: Park Alumni Center | Chancellors Reception Room
  • Cost: Free
  • Parking: Park Alumni Center Parking lot. Parking is free.

This workshop features alumni sharing their experiences in networking, self-advocacy and career advancement. Discussions will focus on breaking through the “Techo de Cristal” (Glass Ceiling) while staying true to personal and cultural identity. Alumni from different generations will share their insights, followed by a Q&A session.

Bordado: Una Ventana a Nuestra Cultura y Textiles

  • Time: 3 p.m.
  • Location: Park Alumni Center | Chancellors Reception Room
  • Cost: $15 per person, walkups welcome

Explore the art of embroidery and its deep cultural significance in this hands-on workshop led by Descalza’s founder and Wilson College of Textiles Alumna Lisbeth Carolina Arias ’15. Learn fundamental techniques, discover the textile traditions that shape our heritage and create a take-home embroidery project.

Building Wealth Through Real Estate

This workshop, tailored to the Latinx Alumni Network, will explore how real estate can be a tool for financial freedom and generational wealth. Led by seasoned investor and Realtor Maria Rodriguez and real estate entrepreneur Francisco Rodriguez, this session will provide practical strategies for homeownership and investment.

Reynolds Coliseum Tour with Dr. Tom Stafford

Conexiones con Sabor Networking Dinner

Whether you’re looking to unwind, enjoy delicious food or engage in meaningful conversations, the LAN Picnic is the perfect way to celebrate our network. Don’t miss out on this exciting day of togetherness and community spirit!

LAN Picnic

  • Time: 11 a.m.
  • Location: Pullen Park – Shelter 3 
  • Cost: $25 per person, walkups welcome
  • Parking: Park at the lot located on the NC State campus, accessible by turning onto Dunn Avenue from Pullen Road, then following the walkway to the park.

SOMOS: Volviendo al Alma

Our second annual Somos, Volviendo al Alma is our multicultural showcase that celebrates the diversity in our culture. The night will include dance performances by alumni and students, tributes to the Latinx community at NC State and more!

Sabores y Encuentros Brunch
