Celebrate Red and White Week with fellow Latinx alumni, students and friends

The Latinx Alumni Network (LAN) is looking forward to our Homecoming Reunion – Nov. 4 to 5 – as part of Red and White Week. As we celebrate another year of LAN, we’ll offer you events ranging from Harambee! to our tailgate.

Harambee! Fall Welcome-Back Block Party
Friday | Nov. 4 | 3 – 6 p.m.
Harris Field | 2810 Cates Ave.

Join the African American Cultural Center, in community, as we kick-off the academic year and celebrate Red and White Week with Harambee! Meet campus partners, connect with friends, enjoy music, games and cuisine from various food trucks.

Cost: Free to attend.
(You will need to register for this event separately as the African American Cultural Center is hosting it.)

Latinx Alumni Network Tailgate (Sold out!)
Saturday | Nov. 5 | 6 p.m.
UPDATE: The tailgate will now be located at the East Terrace of PNC Arena (the same location as last year’s event).

Join the Latinx Alumni Network for our Homecoming tailgate. Celebrate with NC State alumni, students, family, and friends, including the Native American Alumni Network. The tailgate will feature music, games and fellowship. We’ll also be broadcasting the football game. The menu includes empanadas from NC State alum-owned Spanglish, sides and non-alcoholic beverages. Bring your favorite tailgate beverage and snacks to share. Food will be available from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (The tailgate has reached capacity, and registration is now closed.)

Cost: $25 (Food included) | $10 (Entry with no food or drink)
Children (age 5-12) and current NC State students: $10 (Food included) | Children (age 5-12) and current NC State students: $5 (Entry with no food or drink) | Children under age 5: Free

Note: NC State has moved to a cashless campus, meaning we will no longer accept cash for event registration fees. You can still pay at the door via check, credit or debit card.

Transportation Information:
Parking will not be available for this year’s tailgate event. Pay lots are available at the Vet School Deck and Westchase lot on a first come, first serve basis. Guests are encouraged to use a ride-share service or the Red Terror bus service from Witherspoon. (The Red Terror bus service does not allow containers and only one personal bag per person.)

Football Game Tickets:
We’re sorry, but tickets to the football game against Wake Forest are sold out.

Group Rate: $139/night plus tax
