The Lands Down Under and small group touring – limited to 24 travelers – make for a perfect combination on this journey from Australia’s spectacular Great Barrier Reef, the storied Outback, and Ayers Rock to sophisticated Sydney; from New Zealand’s towering Mt. Cook and breathtaking Milford Sound to high-spirited Queenstown and nautical Auckland.

Begin the tour in cosmopolitan Sydney with a three-night stay. Enjoy lunch cruising through Sydney Harbour, followed by a tour of the iconic Opera House. Then, continue to the storied Outback with a two-night stay at Ayers Rock. Watch the sun set over the massive sandstone monolith. From there, continue to tropical Cairns. This is your gateway for a full-day excursion on a semi-submersible vessel out to the Great Barrier Reef. Departing Australia, you’ll then fly to New Zealand. Beginning on the south island, you’ll tour English-accented
Christchurch, New Zealand; and spend two nights in New Zealand’s remarkable Mt. Cook National Park. After these explorations, cruise stunning Milford Sound and discover New Zealand’s “adventure capital,” Queenstown. Experience Maori culture in geothermal Rotorua before the tour concludes in vibrant Auckland. For those who wish to spend more time in the “City of Sails,” an optional three-day/two-night post-tour extension is available.
