Earlier this month, former three-year starter Tol Avery established himself as NC State’s first “Dr. Quarterback” when he earned his advanced degree in education from Fayetteville State University, some 40 years after his final start for the Wolfpack.

Passing the Pompoms: An NC State Cheerleading Legacy

Sabrina Morin and Amy Sellers — both former members of NC State’s cheerleading team — have passed their pompoms and love of the Wolfpack to their daughters, both of whom are rising sophomores on the cheerleading team.
