Giving back is one of the most meaningful ways he says he can honor that impact. As a former student body president and member of the Board of Trustees, he saw firsthand how community leaders at the height of their careers dedicated their time and talent to strengthening the university. They gave selflessly of their time, talent and treasure, and Quick promised himself he would do the same when he had that opportunity. Quick says NC State has given so much to his family, and he feels a deep responsibility – and joy – in supporting its continued success. His involvement across campus, from the Park Alumni Society, to supporting the Libraries, to being involved with the greater alumni associations, keeps him connected to the energy and aspirations of current students. For Quick, hearing about their studies and ambitions is both refreshing and inspiring, and he is grateful for the chance to play even a small role in their journeys. Serving NC State Alumni allows Quick to help foster that same sense of community, opportunity and lifelong connection that has meant so much to him.
