Occupation: Internal Comms, CFO Org and Leadership Programs at Stripe College: College of Humanities and Social Sciences ’11 Affiliations: NC State Entrepreneurship and Innovation community, Bitterroot Land Trust Next Gen Board Kelly Hook says NC State has been a grounding force in her life for two decades, from transformative student experiences to the fellow alums who’ve become lifelong friends across San Francisco, New York and now Montana. She serves and gives back because she genuinely believes in the power of the Wolfpack community, which extends far beyond the years spent on campus. Hook believes when we invest in this community through time, talent or treasure, we strengthen both NC State’s impact on the world and the value of our own degrees (which lifts all boats). Every time she returns to campus or connect with students during Silicon Valley tours, Hook feels an unmistakable creative spark that reminds her why NC State matters. Simply put: Hook says NC State gave her the foundation to chase big dreams while keeping perspective, and she wants to ensure future generations get that same opportunity.
