From Monroe, North Carolina, Callie Smith graduated from North Carolina State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, concentrating in Human Biology. During her time at NC State, Callie served as a student ambassador for the Alumni Association, including serving as President during her senior year.

Currently, Callie is pursuing her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at East Carolina University. Through rigorous coursework, clinical rotations, and interprofessional collaboration, she is developing the advanced medical knowledge and patient-centered skills to serve patients in healthcare. Upon completion of her graduate program in December 2025, Callie intends to embark on her career as a certified Physician Assistant.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Callie values spending quality time with her family and friends. A devoted Wolfpack supporter, she can often be found cheering on NC State athletics, celebrating the school spirit that has shaped much of her personal and professional journey.
