Let’s put your time to work for the Pack.
How It Works
If you volunteer with NC State or another nonprofit, your employer may match your hours with a donation or offer paid time off to volunteer. Here’s how to get started:
- Check Your Eligibility: Use the search tool below to see if your company offers volunteer grants or Volunteer Time Off (VTO).
- Track Your Hours: Record your volunteer time with NC State.
- Submit Your Company’s Form: Most employers provide a quick online process through HR or your benefits portal.
- Your Company Makes a Gift: Your employer sends a donation once approved.
Volunteering for NC State–affiliated events like Feed the Pack or a Day of Service may qualify. It’s quick and easy to submit your hours and turn your time into even more support for the Pack.
How Companies Give Through Volunteering
Many employers offer programs that turn your service into financial support for NC State.
- Volunteer grants provide donations based on your hours, typically $8 to $25 per hour.
- Volunteer Time Off (VTO) lets you volunteer during the workday while still getting paid.
