Alumni-Student Mentorship Program

The NC State Alumni-Student Mentorship Program is a collaborative initiative between NC State Alumni, the Alumni Association Board of Directors Volunteer & Experiences Committee, the Student Alumni Association and First in the Pack.

As a Mentee, You Will

• Build connections with NC State alumni.
• Gain career advice and professional insights.
• Expand your network and confidence.
• Participate in mentorship and networking opportunities throughout the semester.

Your Commitment

Meaningful mentorship requires active participation from both mentor and mentee. Before expressing interest, please carefully consider your commitment to the program.

If selected, you will be expected to:

• Attend the Mentee Orientation on September 9 at 4 p.m.
• Communicate regularly with your mentor.
• Participate in at least three meetings throughout the semester.
• Engage in program activities and opportunities.
• Take an active role in building the mentorship relationship.

Please remember: Mentor preferences are not guaranteed. Matches will consider student goals, rankings, mentor availability and overall fit.
