To my fellow Golden Grads Forever Club members,

This fall has been filled with highlights, including memorable tours of D.H. Hill Library and Frank Thompson Hall. The Golden Grads Forever Club also participated in an exciting Red and White Week for Homecoming 2024, packed with activities, including a virtual presentation on elder fraud and scams, led by David Kirkman, as well as a Medallion Placement Ceremony at the Belltower conducted by Emeritus Member Dr. Tom Stafford. Thank you, Tom!

Chancellor Randy Woodson also delivered his fall address and I encourage you to listen to it – it’s sure to make you proud of our beloved NC State.

The holiday season will be equally busy, with fall graduation and upcoming tours being planned for winter and spring. We’re also considering a winery event in western North Carolina for our members.

Finally, mark your calendars for our annual reunion weekend! It will kick off May 1, 2025, with an evening welcome reception at the Lonnie Poole Clubhouse. Friday will feature our traditional lunch at the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center, along with “Classes Without Quizzes” and tours of campus and the Belltower. Reunion will conclude on Saturday with a special recognition of the Golden Grads Forever Club at the spring graduation ceremony.

I wish each of you a safe, healthy and happy holiday season! Go Pack!
