Kennedy Norton is a proud NC State University alumna, graduating in 2019 with a B.A. in Communications, concentrating in Public Relations and Strategic Communication. An NC State Legacy, Kennedy is the 11th member of her family to attend the university. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, she serves as a valued member of the TURNER PR travel team, where she specializes in media and influencer relations, FAM trip planning and hosting, and strategic campaign development.
With over six years of media relations experience spanning the tourism, hospitality, food & beverage, and consumer packaged goods industries, Kennedy currently supports a dynamic portfolio of clients including Discover South Carolina, Visit Nebraska, Visit Bardstown, Walton County Tourism, Destination Toronto, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, Omni Atlanta at Centennial Park and Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman.
Beyond the office, Kennedy remains actively involved in her community. She is an assistant coach for a high school cheerleading program, leads the Unified cheer initiative for children with special needs and disabilities, and volunteers with the Junior League of Charleston.
