Doug Yopp is the founder and owner of The Oceanaire Realty, a North Carolina brokerage serving clients throughout the Triangle and coastal communities. He has built his career on helping individuals and families navigate real estate with clarity, education and a strong commitment to service. Yopp leads a team of agents and hosts weekly mastermind sessions focused on professional development, personal branding and the client experience.

Before transitioning into real estate, Yopp spent thirteen years working in higher education fundraising. That experience strengthened his dedication to building relationships, creating meaningful engagement and supporting institutions that shape people’s lives. Yopp has been deeply involved with NC State for many years. He previously served on the Young Alumni Council, the Sigma Nu Housing Committee and the Sigma Nu Alumni group. He also serves on the leadership team for the Wake County Alumni Network. In addition, Yopp serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors and the University Council on Athletics, where he remains engaged in strengthening alumni involvement and supporting NC State Athletics.

Outside of his professional and volunteer work, Yopp enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and their two sons, Everett and Winslow. Their family enjoys traveling, NC State sports, home design projects and collecting memorable experiences together.

Yopp chooses to serve NC State because of the impact the university has had on his life both personally and professionally. He believes in giving back to the community that shaped him and in helping ensure the next generation of alumni feel the same sense of pride and belonging.
