Samantha Warren received her B.S. in microbiology from NC State University. A lifetime member of NC State Alumni, she currently serves as a member of its board of directors. Warren, a former Pharma HR Director, is actively engaged at her alma mater in many ways, including through volunteering on the Park Scholarships Regional Selection Committee and the Black Alumni Society. In 2020, she received the inaugural “Alumni Legacy Award” during the Chancellor’s Creating Community Awards in recognition of her deep commitment to equity and social justice. Outside of the university, Samantha is actively involved in the Junior League of Raleigh, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., serves as the Morrisville Town Council-appointed chair of the Senior Advisory Committee and is an aspiring beekeeper.
