NC State Alumni Board Welcomes New Members
The NC State Alumni Board of Directors welcomed six new members this July.
Board members provide input and guidance to the Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving team and are charged with creating an engaged and invested Wolfpack community for life. They are leaders in their respective fields and engaged members of the Wolfpack. These individuals are active through their involvement in volunteering, philanthropy and taking part in Wolfpack experiences.
Casey Adams Jones ’07
Poole College of Management
Strategic Engagement and Inclusive Leadership
Casey Adams Jones currently serves as chair for NC State’s Board for Student Success in support of the Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA). She has volunteered for numerous university initiatives, including student-athlete mentoring, Day of Giving campaigns and alumni outreach efforts.
Professionally, Adams Jones leads executive communications, advising senior leaders on messaging, aligning teams to enterprise priorities, reputation management and crisis response.
Colleagues across NC State’s advancement network have already seen Adams Jones’ approach in action. During Day of Giving 2026, she was part of a broader effort among DASA supporters to help drive a record-breaking campaign effort that generated more than 2,400 gifts and multiple challenge wins through strategic outreach.
On the NC State Alumni Association Board, Adams Jones hopes to help alumni find their passion and pathway to involvement, while broadening engagement among affinity groups and alumni communities that may not always see themselves reflected in leadership spaces.
Tori Collins ’89

A Lifetime of Giving Back
A 1989 engineering graduate and longtime university volunteer, Tori Collins has spent decades building alumni connections through fundraising, mentorship and engagement initiatives. Her background includes serving as an Atlanta Alumni Network officer in the early 2000s through her current role as chair of the Caldwell Fellows alumni philanthropy committee and a Philanthropic Ambassador for NC State in Charlotte.
Now retired after a career in nonprofit fundraising and leadership, Collins says she hopes to dedicate even more energy to strengthening alumni pride and philanthropic support for NC State. “Imagine NC State with a student body of 80,000 and the impact those graduates would have on their community, their state and the world,” Collins says.

Collins has also chaired fundraising initiatives, managed volunteer programs and worked closely with university advancement efforts. A Caldwell scholarship recipient, former Chancellor’s Aide and member of a multigenerational NC State family, Collins says her advocacy comes from firsthand experience with how alumni generosity can change lives.
Charlie Hurley ’27

The Student Perspective
As the incoming president of the Student Alumni Association Ambassadors, Charlie Hurley brings the perspective of current students navigating NC State in real time.
Hurley, who is heavily involved across campus as a Chancellor’s Aide, biomedical engineering ambassador and undergraduate researcher, says he wants to serve as a voice for students while helping alumni better understand the impact their involvement has on the next generation of Wolfpack graduates.
His leadership experience includes two years on the Student Wolfpack Club Board of Directors, where he helped grow membership by more than 130% through outreach and engagement initiatives. Through his work with the Student Alumni Association, Hurley hopes his experience positions him to share with the board how today’s students want to engage with alumni and the university.
Alan Keith ’82 ’86

Lifelong Wolfpack Supporter
Alan Keith hopes to focus on one key mission during his board service: reconnecting alumni who may have lost connection with the university over time.
A longtime NC State Alumni volunteer and current leader of the Wake County Alumni Network, Keith brings years of grassroots engagement experience through planning events, coordinating outreach and supporting annual giving initiatives, including service as president of a local arts foundation supporting high school arts programs. Keith has been a Wolfpack Club member and NC State Alumni member since graduation, remaining in touch with the university.
Keith’s family ties to NC State run deep. His wife, daughters and a son-in-law are all NC State graduates. Keith is a 1982 and 1986 civil engineering graduate retired from a 44-year career as a professional engineer and says he especially wants to advocate for older alumni who may feel disconnected as the university continues to evolve.
Lynda Lanning ’82

Mentorship and Mission-Driven Leadership
Throughout her career in regulatory science and public service, Lynda Lanning has served in national leadership roles within scientific and professional organizations, including the American Board of Toxicology, where she served as both president and vice president.
For more than 25 years, she has remained actively involved with the Caldwell Fellows program, serving as a reviewer and interviewer for student finalists. Through that work, Lanning says she has seen firsthand the transformative role engaged alumni can play in shaping student success and leadership development.
On the board, she hopes to help create engagement pathways that are accessible to alumni across geographic regions, strengthening the board’s focus on mission-driven leadership, governance and devotion to NC State’s land-grant mission.
Lanning says, “Some of the most meaningful growth during college occurs outside the classroom, and I hope to help create opportunities that prepare students for lives of service and contribution to their community and the world.”

Strengthening Connections Across Campus
Ashle Page has embodied NC State’s Think and Do philosophy starting with her days as a student.
While an undergraduate, Page put these values into practice, revitalizing university-wide undergraduate research publications, advocating for students and innovation on university committees, and leading non-profit initiatives on campus.
Since graduating in 2017 with degrees in engineering and textiles, her work spans entrepreneurship, mentoring, networking, scholarship recruitment and philanthropy.
In addition to serving in leadership roles for national and local professional and civic organizations, Page currently helps lead the NC State Alumni Entrepreneurs network, is an ambassador for Friends of the Libraries, serves with the Wake County Alumni Network and has spent nearly a decade interviewing scholarship candidates for prestigious programs including the Goodnight, Centennial and Park Scholarships.
She also previously served on the College of Engineering Young Alumni Board, where she chaired the development and philanthropy committee and has helped lead successful Day of Giving initiatives.
From childhood visits to campus conferences and athletic events with her parents through her mother’s three-decades-long career with the university to her own years as a student leader and Chancellor’s Aide, Page credits NC State with shaping every stage of her life.
